One of the unsung benefits of being a real estate agent is becoming part of a wider community. For example, our agents aren’t only a part of the CENTURY 21 Redwood Realty family; they’re a part of their local associations, their state association, and the National Association of REALTORS®…not to mention being a part of the CENTURY 21 family, the Realogy family, and the real estate community as a whole.
Essential to being part of any community, however, is active involvement. We’re incredibly proud of the various ways CENTURY 21 Redwood Realty owners, agents, staff, and EVPs who are dedicated to giving back to their respective real estate communities. Here are some of the most recent ways we've demonstrated our commitment to community.
You can often find our co-owner and C21 Redwood Realty President Eddie Berenbaum on the national stage as a popular speaker for Inman News at their conferences. This year, Eddie spoke to his fellow broker owners about creating a diversified strategy to achieve profit growth at Inman Connect New York City and sharing his experience with mergers & acquisitions at Inman Connect San Francisco.
We’ve also spotted CENTURY 21 Redwood Realty agent Heather Elias on the national stage. A known speaker and trusted industry professional, Heather was recently part of a panel at the 2018 REALTOR.com Results Summit in Las Vegas discussing how to serve consumers with an “on demand” mindset.
Another co-owner and C21 Redwood Realty Chief Operating Principal and Principal Broker Shawn Milletary, chaired the Virginia REALTORS® Association BROKERPLUS event on October 17th, 2018, which focused on trends and training of industry leaders.
On a more local level, we have many EVPs actively involved in their local associations. One of those EVPs, Lars Henriksen, who manages our Ashburn and Leesburg offices and is a past president of the Dulles Area Association of REALTORS®, was recently recognized with a Resolution of Appreciation from Loudoun County for his work on reviewing and providing feedback for Loudoun’s 2040 Comprehensive Plan.
Interested in getting started in real estate and taking a real estate pre-licensing course through Moseley? You may just run into our Fredericksburg EVP Mark Geslock, who’s one of their instructors – when he’s not helping his agents or fixing them delicious barbeque, of course!
Whether you’re interested in sharing your real estate experience on a national level, passionate about making your state association better, or enjoy getting back to grassroots through your local association, CENTURY 21 Redwood Realty is there to support your efforts and cheer you on.
