About Don

It was almost pre-destined that Don Smith would become an entrepreneur, as his father was a small business owner. Don first started in commercial construction and residential development before making his way into becoming a broker. His first office was in Urbana, Maryland, and with a prior franchise, Don and his agents ranked consistently in the top 100 brokers nationally, winning numerous awards along the way. It was only natural that he and his office of motivated, client-oriented agents would easily transition to CENTURY 21 Redwood Realty.

Don's calm demeanor belies his quick wit and competitive nature. Having been in sports for a majority of his life, Don takes what he's learned on the field about teamwork and goal-sharing and delivers it to all his agents with a view toward making them the best in the business. Using these elements as his solid foundation, Don attracts agents who are comfortable being part of a greater whole, whether that be in sharing ways to be more successful in business or being active in community service initiatives like Redwood Gives Back.
